Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting a price quote from a certified Small Business, Microbusiness, Small Business for public works, or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise for boiler services at its District 7 facility. The scope covers annual preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, reporting, and repairs for three Unilux ZF 350W-FE3-MH-LB water-tube boilers and quarterly preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and reporting for six boiler pumps. The contractor must also provide routine and non-routine repair services, specified replacement parts, labor, equipment, tools, materials, permits, travel, and incidentals. Services include boiler cleaning and tune-ups, combustion and efficiency testing, flue-gas analysis, burner adjustment, safety and control testing, source testing compliant with South Coast Air Quality Management District standards, engineering reports, and repair-response services. The contractor must hold a current California C-4 boiler contractor license and Department of Industrial Relations registration. Subcontracting is prohibited. The estimated agreement term is January 1, 2027, or Caltrans approval, whichever is later, through December 31, 2029, with a maximum quote amount of $484,000. The price quote must include the provided price proposal and required certifications and declarations.
