Description
The Elko Convention and Visitors Authority is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to furnish, install, program, test, and commission a new fire alarm system with integrated voice evacuation and mass-notification capability at the Elko Convention Center. The system is based on a Kidde Commercial VM Series or Evolve Series fire alarm control panel, with the specific model and panel configuration to be confirmed at submittal. The work must comply with NFPA 72, applicable International Building Code and local Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements, ADA/accessibility requirements, and manufacturer specifications. The estimated base-bid construction cost is $100,000, and prevailing-wage requirements apply. Bidders must be qualified before bid opening.
