Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting a contractor to provide NETA-certified maintenance testing and calibration for 34 protective generator switchgear relays and 27 AB40 switchboard meters. Work includes visual and mechanical inspections, insulation and contact resistance testing, functional and secondary-injection testing, calibration to manufacturer tolerances, verification of protection elements and timing, and testing of meter functions. The contractor must be NETA-certified, use NETA MTS-2019 and applicable NETA testing standards, provide calibrated testing equipment, have at least five years of relevant experience, and provide references for at least three similar projects completed within the last three years. Preliminary results are due within 24 hours after testing, and final reports with recommendations are due within seven business days. The award period is one year with three additional one-year renewal periods. The solicitation also requires specified insurance, proof of Florida business registration, subcontracting forms, and other vendor-response certifications.
