Shaker Heights City School District is soliciting managed internal broadband services for its existing Category 2 network equipment across 13 locations. The scope covers ongoing operation, management, and monitoring of the listed equipment, including Cisco wireless access points; HPE/Aruba access points, switches, power supplies, cables, transceivers, and fan trays; APC uninterruptible power supplies; and Tripp Lite power distribution units. Firewalls and security appliances are excluded because they are covered under a separate managed internal broadband services contract, and no additional network devices beyond the listed equipment are expected. Services are expected to be primarily remote, with district IT staff available to assist with troubleshooting. No minimum number of on-site visits is required, but as-needed on-site support must have a four-hour response time. The district uses HPE Aruba Central and is open to vendor-specific monitoring tools capable of real-time monitoring of Cisco and HPE Aruba equipment. Annual pricing is expected to cover the listed device quantities; increases in quantity or additional equipment would require an amendment or new procurement. Evaluation will place greatest weight on the cost of E-Rate-eligible services, with technical merit, staff or solution capability, prior vendor experience, proposal completeness, and other factors potentially considered.
