Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and is not a solicitation for proposals or an award opportunity. The anticipated future requirement would provide comprehensive facilities operation and maintenance services at geographically separated U.S. Navy medical research facilities in Lima and Iquitos, Peru, including personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and related support. The anticipated scope includes facility operations, preventive and unscheduled maintenance, service-order support, minor and specialty repairs, materials and inventory management, technical reporting, quality control, and safety management. Systems may include HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, chillers, electrical distribution, emergency power, generators, plumbing, wastewater, fire protection, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, building automation, building and grounds infrastructure, and medical-research support systems. Respondents are asked to describe relevant overseas, multi-site, medical, laboratory, military, or similarly complex facilities experience; capabilities in Peru; staffing and management; supply-chain support; quality and safety programs; and maintenance-management systems. The anticipated structure is one competitive single-award task-order contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options.
