Description
The City of Mauldin is seeking proposals for a customized safety netting system at Sunset Park's four baseball and softball fields. The selected contractor must provide durable, weather-resistant netting that protects spectators from fly balls while maintaining field visibility, along with structural supports and anchoring systems for long-term stability. The scope includes removal and installation work during weekday business hours, engineering plans addressing wind loads and structural integrity, compliance with applicable safety codes and standards, and installation with minimal disruption to park operations. Proposals must include a cover letter, similar-project experience, a recommended solution and approach, an estimated fabrication and installation timeline, and cost information. Attendance at the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and walkthrough is required to submit a proposal.
