Description
The Town of Alta is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified consultants to provide preconstruction services for the stabilization and preservation of the Tom Moore Historic Structure, a historic building in Alta, Utah. The selected consultant will develop design documents suitable for soliciting future construction bids, prepare a construction budget estimate with a guaranteed maximum cost, recommend procurement, contracting, and project-delivery approaches, and provide other necessary preconstruction services. The consultant must engage a general contractor to help ensure that the design documents and recommendations support a feasible construction project. The statement of qualifications must address project understanding, firm qualifications and relevant experience, at least three comparable project references with contact information, the proposed project team and key-personnel resumes, the proposed technical approach, a project-completion schedule, and disciplinary actions or similar proceedings from the past three years. Submissions are limited to 30 pages and 20 MB and must include proof of insurance. Evaluation will consider qualifications and experience, personnel, technical approach, schedule, references, and responsiveness to formatting requirements.
