Description
The City of Boise is soliciting sealed bids for the first phase of reconstruction and rehabilitation of Airport Way and the elevated roadway at Boise Airport. The work includes elevated roadway repairs, bridge deck and crossbeam repairs, concrete waterproofing and overlays, sidewalk and drainage improvements, roadway reconstruction, asphalt milling and repair, chip sealing, rapid-cure seal coating, pavement marking, landscaping repair, unsuitable-subgrade replacement, mobilization, and related traffic-control operations. The project also requires temporary traffic-control devices, flaggers, signs, barricades, message boards, floodlights, crash cushions, and concrete barriers. Bidders must submit a signed bid proposal, bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount, current-project information, subcontractor and licensing disclosures, and any applicable equal-or-equivalent requests. The work is subject to airport-specific, federal, safety, nondiscrimination, insurance, quality-control, testing, and warranty requirements.
