Description
The City of Hot Springs is soliciting a lump-sum bid for labor, materials, equipment, supervision, demolition, disposal, excavation, and construction of a replacement pedestrian bridge at Desoto Park. The work includes removal of the existing damaged bridge; new reinforced concrete abutments; a galvanized structural steel superstructure; pressure-treated Southern Pine decking and railing; bearings; approach work; erosion control; site restoration; cleanup; testing; and all incidental work required for a complete, functional bridge in accordance with the construction plans. The bidder must provide a signed bid, a lump-sum price, the proposed number of working days, required licensing and business-registration information, subcontractor information if applicable, and specified certificates and certifications. The plans require structural steel, concrete, reinforcing steel, treated timber, galvanized fasteners, protective coatings, and PVC-coated welded-wire railing components meeting the stated standards.
