Description
The City seeks short-term, as-needed rentals of heavy equipment, road construction equipment, and related attachments for roadway maintenance and drainage projects. Requested equipment spans earthmoving machinery, loaders and backhoes, asphalt paving and milling equipment, rollers, lifting equipment, generators, compressors, mowing and sweeping equipment, and drainage-cleaning equipment. Offerors may quote only the listed items they actively provide and must submit daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates, along with the make and model offered. The contractor is responsible for equipment delivery and pickup, maintenance, repairs, and emergency service. The City provides the equipment operators and is responsible for fuel and normal consumables. Equipment is generally expected to be delivered within 48 hours of request; repair or replacement timelines and liquidated damages apply. The sample contract states a January 1, 2027–December 31, 2031 performance period and a not-to-exceed amount of $1,000,000 per year, with a $5,000,000 total cap.
