Description
The Department of War's Office of the Assistant to the Secretary of War for Public Affairs requires an enterprise commercial subscription to the Factiva platform. The requirement includes professional user seats, real-time news alerts, organization intelligence, enterprise user administration, full-text licensed article access, historical news archives, Factiva AI News Feed capabilities, Article API access, copyright licensing, and AI-enabled content integration. The acquisition also includes associated licensing, maintenance, technical support, and enterprise services. The justification states that Factiva Inc. is the sole source capable of providing the complete proprietary platform and required combination of database access, feeds, API functionality, copyright permissions, and support; limited reseller offerings do not meet the requirement.
