Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is soliciting bids for comprehensive elevator maintenance and repair services for the Transportation Management Center (TMC) located at 7183 Opportunity Road, San Diego, CA 92111. The contract will cover all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, and travel necessary for the safe operation and upkeep of a Montgomery Cable and Pulley System Traction elevator (Number 106221). Services include routine preventative maintenance, non-routine repairs, and emergency response. Key requirements include a C-11 Elevator Contractor license, DIR registration, and adherence to prevailing wage laws. Bidders must submit a bid proposal not exceeding $484,000.00. A mandatory site inspection is scheduled for June 30, 2026. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on July 7, 2026. The estimated contract period is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2031.
