Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) to gather market intelligence on potential sources for an electric utility truck. The Department of Veterans Affairs San Diego Healthcare System's Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) Service requires this vehicle for hazardous waste removal, disposal pickup, and spill response throughout the medical center. The primary deliverable is one (1) electric utility truck, equivalent to a Cushman Titan XD, to be procured as Brand Name or Equal. Key salient characteristics include specific dimensions (131" x 55" x 72"), a minimum loading capacity of 2,600 lbs, a two-passenger seat with cargo stakes, a foldable windshield, front bumper bar, rearview mirrors, full lighting (headlights, taillights, turn signals), horn, seat belts, cabin canopy, and removable rear cargo side panels. The vehicle must also feature a minimum 8-year battery warranty and a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, with technical support available via telephone or online.
