Description
The project involves relocating an existing 4-inch force main across State Highway 48 and installing a new force main parallel to the railroad tracks, connecting to an existing manhole. Work includes approximately 1,570 linear feet of 4-inch PVC force main, including sections installed in steel casing by trenchless construction, tie-ins, valves, above-grade piping, and rehabilitation of an existing wet well and manhole with PVC liners. The contractor must also provide trench safety, dewatering, traffic control, erosion and sediment controls, site restoration, and related construction work. The bid is unit-price based, and the contract requires completion within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
