Description
Nevada State Public Works Division is soliciting a prime contractor to remove an existing concrete mezzanine and provide tenant improvements in the resulting space at Ely State Prison. The project includes building rehabilitation and renovation, electrical installation, fire protection, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and demolition, building removal, hauling, and salvage. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, with liquidated damages of $865 per calendar day. The contract time is 135 calendar days. Bids must be submitted exclusively through QuestCDN's online electronic bid service, and electronic submission costs $20. Plans and specifications may be downloaded for $22, or viewed at no cost in reduced resolution. All prime contractors must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Each attendee must obtain security clearance and submit the NDOC Contractor Background Check Application and NDOC Security Regulations Acknowledgment Form at least seven days before the meeting.
