Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking industry feedback on the draft Global Unified Airbase Readiness and Defense (GUARD) multiple-award IDIQ. The vehicle would support worldwide acquisition, design, procurement, installation, integration, testing, cybersecurity authorization support, training, and full-lifecycle sustainment of Integrated Base Defense electronic security systems for fixed and tactical sites. Scope includes intrusion detection, access control, video management, surveillance, command-and-display equipment, network infrastructure, delay/denial systems, physical infrastructure, systems engineering, program management, and logistics support. The draft vehicle is structured as a two-year base ordering period with one-year options extending ordering activity up to ten years, plus up to five additional years for task- or delivery-order performance. The maximum IDIQ quantity is $1.98 billion, with an anticipated ten awards and a $1,000 post-award conference minimum-order guarantee. Responses to the RFI should provide comments and questions using the Comment Resolution Matrix; the written submission may not exceed 20 pages plus a one-page cover letter. The formal RFP is not yet being solicited, and sample problems and other proposal details remain subject to finalization.
