Description
The U.S. Air Force intends to award a firm-fixed-price, HUBZone sole-source purchase order for two Rohde & Schwarz M3AR software-defined radio systems with technical support. The required equipment includes XM6912 multiband transceivers, ZK6000 L/R maintenance connection boxes, GB4000V audio units, GA015 headsets, specified cables, CP5001AR Avionic Commander Preset Loader functionality software, and HMP4030 and HMP2020 power supplies. The radios must operate from 30 MHz to 400 MHz, support the NATO SATURN frequency-hopping waveform, integrate with NATO encryption, interoperate with KY-58 and KY-100 encryption devices, and demonstrate compatibility with currently fielded communications systems. The requirement also includes 20 hours of remote technical support. The notice states that GovSmart is the intended vendor and that the action is not a request for competitive quotes, although responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration.
