Description
Kissimmee Utility Authority seeks one or more qualified electrical contractors to provide as-needed services for its electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The scope includes labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, and technical expertise for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, replacements, modifications, expansions, and new installations involving systems up to 600 volts, communications and control systems, cable and conduit, wiring, panelboards, fused disconnects, chargers, grounding, raceways, lighting, lightning protection, foundations, and related electrical equipment. Contractors may also provide permitting, inspections, testing, commissioning, and emergency repairs. Services will be assigned through task assignments and purchase orders, with no guaranteed minimum volume. Contractors must be available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, respond on site within four hours for emergency work, and meet specified response times for other service requests. Proposers must hold a current Florida Certified Electrical Contractor license and demonstrate at least five comparable commercial EVSE projects completed within the last eight years, including at least two direct-current fast-charging installations. The proposal package is limited to 50 single-sided pages, excluding required attachments, and must include the completed pricing sheet and required forms, qualifications, references, approach, pricing, insurance certificates, and other certifications. Addendum No. 1 confirms that no bid bond is required and requires proposers to sign and return the addendum acknowledgment.
