Description
The Town of Hebron is soliciting proposals for one Class A, 1,500-GPM, single-stage triple-combination rescue pumper mounted on a custom tilt-cab chassis, with a 750-to-1,000-gallon polypropylene water tank. The apparatus must include the specified chassis, pump, compartments, communications provisions, lighting, ladders, hose, rescue equipment, winch, scene lighting, electrical systems, and other fire-service equipment. The respondent is responsible for design, construction, coordination of component warranties, third-party testing, delivery, acceptance support, and operator training. Proposals must include technical specifications, schematic drawings, a written apparatus description, warranties, delivery schedule, references for five similar apparatus projects completed within the past five years, pricing, lease-purchase information, required price and warranty forms, and any exceptions or alternate proposals. The Town may consider a trade-in of a 2005 Emergency One Heavy Duty Rescue Truck and requests pricing for specified equipment and warranty alternatives. A 10% bid bond is required with the proposal; the successful respondent must provide 100% performance and payment bonds before issuance of a purchase order. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and excess/umbrella liability coverage.
