Description
Coastal Carolina University is soliciting a one-time purchase of four pairs of custom-sized aluminum storefront entrance doors for Baxley Hall. The doors must fit existing openings measuring 71.50 inches wide by 84.00 inches high, use an outswing configuration, be 1.75 inches thick, have specified wide stiles and rails, and receive a manufacturer’s standard bone-white powder-coat or equivalent factory-applied finish. The doors must be supplied as blank, unglazed chassis without frames or hardware preparations, including lock, hinge, push/pull, closer, or other hardware preparations. The basis of design is CoralAP Storefront or an acceptable equivalent, with non-impact-rated construction and laminated-glass glazing stops. The contractor must also furnish twelve sheets of 1/4-inch clear annealed laminated glass, approximately 36 by 84 inches, delivered separately and uninstalled. The University will cut, fabricate, glaze, and install the glass and will furnish and install all hardware. Vendors must provide the manufacturer and product model number, detailed product specifications, shop or dimensioned drawings for approval before fabrication, warranty information, and delivery lead time. Three references substantiating relevant past work are required.
