Description
The School District of Ladysmith is soliciting grant applications for its Educational Enrichment Fund (EEF). The fund supports projects that promote and enrich quality educational opportunities for students in the areas of fine arts, English/language arts, social studies, history, foreign language, math, and science. Grants range from $100 to $1,500. Eligible applicants include all pre-K to 12 professional staff, and students may submit proposals with a teacher advisor. Applications must demonstrate how the project will help the school or community, have demonstrable learning goals related to the curriculum, and provide lasting value. Funds cannot be used for typical operating expenses, religious content, or political purposes. Applications are due by 4:00 PM on the first Friday in October, and recipients will be announced in early December. Projects must be completed by the end of the academic year, with evaluation forms submitted.
