Description
The College of Southern Nevada is soliciting bids for a turnkey construction project to remove and dispose of the existing softball field turf and furnish and install a new fiber-filled synthetic turf system with a 15 mm shock pad. The work includes base and drainage verification, turf installation, field markings and graphics, replacement panels, field maintenance equipment, G-Max testing, product and shop-drawing submittals, permits, cleanup, and final acceptance documentation. The specifications identify minimum performance, drainage, material, and installation requirements and permit approved equal systems subject to the stated review process. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services; maintain the site during construction; provide a project schedule and weekly updates; furnish a minimum 12-year synthetic turf system warranty; and provide two years of post-construction field maintenance, including inspections, repairs, reporting, and G-Max testing. Construction is scheduled to begin November 16, 2026, and reach completion by January 4, 2027. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; 100% payment and performance bonds and required insurance are due after notice of intent to award. Alternate product or specification requests must be submitted in writing by the question deadline with manufacturer specifications, drawings, schematics, and other relevant supporting details.
