Description
The contractor must provide two Nintendo Switch consoles modified for correctional use, including disabling Wi-Fi and physical network or phone connections while retaining Bluetooth functionality, removing the game cartridge reader, and sealing a 512 GB MicroSDXC card into each console with epoxy. The consoles must be preloaded with the specified digital games, with a new Nintendo account created for each console. The rate sheet also requests four Joy-Con controllers. Pricing must include modification parts and labor, with freight and a subtotal listed on the rate sheet. The contractor must provide a warranty mirroring the manufacturer’s warranty for at least 12 months, troubleshoot, repair, or replace issues related to the modifications, and provide loaner devices during qualifying repair or maintenance periods. Loaners must have the same security modifications and meet the stated game requirements; one loaner is required per ten consoles. Delivery is due within 30 days after receipt of order, with additional time possible with the receiving institution’s approval.
