Description
Hillsborough County seeks qualified engineering consulting firms to support pavement and existing sidewalk asset management, evaluation, and planning, along with related roadway programs. Work may include pavement and sidewalk inventory and condition assessment, data validation and quality control, deterioration and rehabilitation analysis, treatment recommendations, GIS and database support, funding scenarios, cost estimates, project prioritization, multi-year capital improvement planning, and asset reporting. Other assignments may include technical studies, reports, maps, presentations, project development, pavement design, final plans, and engineering or field support. Services will be assigned through work orders, with scopes, schedules, effort, and deliverables established for each assignment; engineering work requiring certification must be supervised and signed and sealed by a Florida-registered Professional Engineer. The County anticipates selecting one or more firms for continuing professional-services contracts. The estimated total award is $1.5 million, divided among the selected firms. A 10% SBE participation goal provides an opportunity to earn evaluation bonus points; the SBE-2 form and supporting materials are required only to request those points. A Florida engineering license is required. The contract period is three years.
