Description
Nottoway County Public Schools is soliciting proposals for comprehensive winter weather management and snow removal services during the 2026–2027 school year. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment for pre-treatment with anti-icing agents, mechanical and manual snow removal from parking lots, driveways, bus loops, entrances, and sidewalks, and post-clearing application of salt, sand, or approved chemical abrasives. The contract uses a strict pay-for-performance structure: the district will pay only for services actually rendered and will not provide seasonal retainers, standby fees, guaranteed minimums, or flat-rate seasonal contracts. Pricing may be submitted per event, per inch of accumulation, or per application. Proposals must include a pricing schedule, valid Virginia business-license documentation, proof of general liability, auto, and workers’ compensation insurance, an inventory of available winter-weather equipment, and at least three professional references from commercial, municipal, or educational clients.
