Description
Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority is soliciting online sealed bids for estimated quantities of conventional, watertight, large, lamphole, monument, and inspection manhole frames and covers, as well as adjustable manhole extension rings in multiple diameters and rise dimensions. Products must meet detailed specifications, including specified loading, materials, dimensions, markings, self-sealing or bolted lids, domestic steel requirements for riser rings, and approved-equal provisions. Bidders must submit current manufacturer specifications and advertising literature for the proposed materials. The contract may be awarded for one, two, or three years, with estimated quantities ordered as needed through multiple purchase orders. Materials are generally required within 10 or 14 calendar days after notification, with delivery within 50 miles of the Authority's main office. Bids must include a 10% bid bond or certified check, the required PennBid submission fields and uploads, the completed Excel pricing response, and the required non-collusion affidavit. The successful bidder must later provide insurance and a performance bond of at least 50% of the contract amount.
