Description
The Province of British Columbia, through BC Timber Sales’ Chinook Business Area, is soliciting a contractor to complete brushing treatments on 18 units totaling approximately 224.6 hectares. Work includes manual brushing with power saws, girdling, and crop-circle treatments, with unit-specific treatment prescriptions and access conditions detailed in the tender documents. The contractor must meet eligibility and staffing requirements, including SAFE Company certification, a crew of at least six brushers with specified experience, an experienced full-time supervisor, and a Certified Wildlife Danger Tree Assessor and faller. The tender requires a bid security of at least $5,000 for bids below $250,000 or $10,000 for bids of $250,000 or more; a continuous bid deposit may be used. A completed Tender Offer Form and price schedule are required, and the continuous bid deposit declaration is required when that deposit option is used. The successful bidder will be responsible for safety, quality control, and applicable environmental and insurance obligations.
