Description
Dallas Independent School District is soliciting a contractor for additions and renovations at Central Elementary School. The approximately $14.73 million scope includes a secured vestibule and reception area, a new 16-classroom addition, an air-cooled chiller connected to the existing system, fire-alarm and public-address system expansions, site lighting, utilities and grading, a fire-lane loop, a new concrete basketball court, two playgrounds, landscaping and irrigation, and a campus garden. Existing portable buildings will be demolished after the new addition is occupied, and the addition will receive a two-ply modified-bitumen roof. The procurement uses a two-part, two-envelope CSP process. Parts 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C are due September 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CST, while Part 2, covering SBE compliance, is due September 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. CST. Physical delivery is required, and proposals will be publicly opened and read via Teams at 3:30 p.m. CST after Part 2 submission.
