Description
The School District of Greenville County seeks a turnkey protective netting system for Riverside High School’s baseball stadium. Work includes furnishing and installing a 30-foot-tall tensioned netting system, replacing approximately 30 linear feet of backstop fencing and extending netting approximately 160 feet down the first-base line and 70 feet down the third-base line. The specified netting is black, UV-resistant, twisted and knotted nylon with a 1¾-inch mesh and sewn rope borders. The contractor must provide poles, foundations, cables, clips, stamped engineered drawings, and any necessary demolition, disposal, backfill, and concrete work. Bids must include pricing, a warranty description, at least three references, and identification of proposed subcontractors when applicable. The project requires 5% bid security. Performance and payment bonds are required before purchase order issuance. Installation must be substantially complete by January 31, 2027; liquidated damages are $250 per calendar day for late completion.
