Description
The San Diego Unified Port District is soliciting bids for the modernization of the existing hydraulic passenger elevator, identified as the West Elevator, at the B Street Pier Cruise Ship Terminal Building. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, power, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the work in accordance with Plans Drawing No. EM-2025-07 and Specifications No. 2025-35. The modernization will provide a fully code-compliant hoistway, elevator car, machine room, and associated systems. The solicitation requires a Class A contractor's license, a lump-sum bid, a 365-calendar-day project duration, a 10% bid bond, and 100% payment and performance bonds.
