Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is requesting cellular fire alarm monitoring for an existing system at the Blount County Health Department. The awarded vendor must monitor the system 24 hours a day, seven days a week; contact the facility or designated representative whenever the system is activated; and contact the appropriate fire department or law-enforcement agency for each activation. Services must be invoiced monthly with the service dates and billed amounts identified. The solicitation also requests as-needed fire alarm repair or service, priced either as an hourly rate or a service-call amount. The initial contract period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with renewal options for up to five years and a total cost not to exceed $25,000. The agency reserves the right not to award based on budget restrictions.
