Description
Cullman City Board of Education is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified general contractors for construction of a new soccer field house at Cullman High School. The scope includes a load-bearing concrete masonry unit building with brick veneer, TPO roofing, metal decking, steel bar joists, and associated electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on the proposal forms furnished by the architect or issued by addendum. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to Cullman City Board of Education, equal to at least 5% of the proposal amount and capped at $10,000, must accompany each bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance at contract signing. Bidders exceeding the applicable Alabama licensing threshold must hold a current Alabama general contractor’s license and display the license number on the sealed envelope.
