Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business for a combination firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials contract supporting Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, community-based outpatient clinics, and Vet Centers. Services include CAT6 and fiber-optic cabling installation, termination, testing, telephone and inside-wiring work, audiovisual, CATV/CCTV, fax and VoIP troubleshooting, medication-cart cabling, grounding and bonding, satellite cabling, PA systems, cable trays, racks and cabinets, dedicated electrical circuits, outlets, and conduit. The contractor must provide 24/7/365 on-call support, including emergency onsite response within four hours at most locations, qualified and certified personnel, Washington and Idaho journeyman electricians as applicable, fiber expertise, Cisco switch programming, required tools and test equipment, work-order documentation, monthly reports, and compliance with facility-access and background-investigation requirements. The solicitation requires Parts I through IV: an executed SF 1449, price proposal, technical proposal, and past-performance submission; the technical proposal is limited to eight pages for the specified compliance demonstration. The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with annual quantities of 1,500 normal-hours, 100 after-hours, 100 weekend/holiday hours, and cabling materials capped at $10,000 per year.
