Description
The City of Lauderhill is soliciting a turnkey contractor to replace existing commercial playground equipment at ten municipal park playground areas. The work includes demolition and disposal, field verification and measurement, equipment layouts, accessible routes, permits, engineering, inspections, testing, site restoration, and installation of new commercial-grade equipment matched to the existing play features and designated age ranges. The scope also includes complete synthetic turf playground safety systems with impact attenuation, drainage, base preparation, curbing or edge restraint, accessibility compliance, testing, warranties, and required technical documentation. Shade work includes replacement fabric on existing structures at most locations and one new engineered canopy structure at Boulevard Woods Park. The contractor must also furnish and install specified benches, trash receptacles, signage, and other site furnishings, and submit pricing and supporting documentation for each playground. The contract documents require a 5% bid security and, after award, 100% performance and payment bonds plus a 25% warranty bond.
