Description
Montezuma County is soliciting janitorial services for Annex 3 at 140 West Main Street in Cortez, Colorado. The facility is approximately 12,200 square feet, including 520 square feet of carpeted area. Required service is scheduled daily Monday through Thursday after 4:30 p.m. and includes sweeping and wet mopping composition floors, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, emptying waste baskets and exterior trash cans, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and drinking fountains, replenishing restroom supplies, cleaning entry doors, spot-cleaning walls, and securing the building at the end of each workday. Additional requirements include weekly dusting; monthly telephone sanitation and doormat washing; quarterly interior-window and baseboard cleaning; carpet shampooing twice annually; heating-vent cleaning twice annually; annual waxing of bathroom floors; and extra services at an hourly rate when approved by the Maintenance Supervisor. The contractor must maintain an inventory of supplies, ensure personnel pass background checks and E-Verify, and provide three references. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027.
