Description
The project calls for rebuilding two existing chillers, including cleaning and repairing components, replacing specified parts, upgrading control panels, recharging the units, and providing a five-year warranty. The contractor must use Trane-certified technicians and meet the stated response-time and service-area requirements. An alternate price is requested for a new Trane magnetic-bearing chiller with a 10-year warranty. The work also includes providing and installing two new Marley cooling towers with stainless-steel construction and internal walkways, modifying piping, and insulating as needed. Rental cooling equipment and a generator may be required. The proposal must include qualifications and experience, references and a portfolio, the project approach and staffing responsibilities, and a detailed fee schedule. The solicitation also requires specified acknowledgments and certifications with the proposal.
