Description
The 28th Maintenance Squadron Aircraft Structural Maintenance shop requires two G689 CherryLock pneumatic-hydraulic riveter guns, two 680B46 straight adapters, and two each of the H9055-3, H9055-4, H9055-5, and H9055-6 Cherry pulling heads. The riveter must meet specified air-pressure, stroke, pulling-force, weight, noise, vibration, and air-consumption requirements; install specified NAS1398, NAS1399, NAS1400, NAS1738, and NAS1739 blind rivets; support CherryLock A and MS rivets across required grip lengths and diameters; and be compatible with H681 pulling-head assemblies. The procurement is restricted to Cherry Aerospace brand-name products because the existing tooling cannot install larger CherryLock NAS1400 blind rivets and the requirement is necessary for critical aircraft structural repairs. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract using technical and price factors in an integrated best-value assessment. Quotes must be submitted by email, and delivery is FOB destination to Ellsworth Air Force Base no later than 180 days after contract award. Funds are not presently available, and payment is contingent on the availability of appropriated funds and written notice from the Contracting Officer.
