Description
The City of Salem, Massachusetts is soliciting bids for paving services at Bentley Elementary School, located at 25 Memorial Drive, Salem, Massachusetts. The scope of work includes cleaning the parking lot prior to paving, milling and paving, installing tack coat, leveling prior to overlay, and line striping. The parking lot is approximately 4,475 square yards with 98 parking spots. The project is expected to begin upon issuance of a notice to proceed after July 1, 2026, and must be completed no later than July 20, 2026. The contract may be renewed annually for two additional years at the City's discretion. Bidders must submit a bid security of 5% of the total bid price, a Labor & Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each for 100% of the contract price, and provide proof of insurance. Bidders must also provide a list of references for similar projects performed within the last three years.
