Description
The Lynnfield Water District (Owner) is soliciting proposals for the Water Meter Replacement Program. The project includes furnishing approximately 1,490 water meters, encoder registers, radio frequency (RF) modules, data collection hardware, head end software, integration with the billing system, training, and professional services for a fully functional Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system. Installation of the water meters, registers, and AMR modules will be performed under a separate contract once a proposer is selected for this project. The Owner's program goals include meter-reading accuracy, metering operations efficiency, standardization of meter sizes/connections, and controlling annual operating costs. Proposals must be received by 1:00 PM prevailing time on February 26, 2026, and delivered to the Lynnfield Water District Office at 842 Salem St, Lynnfield, MA 01940.
