Description
The City of Concord is soliciting a licensed North Carolina contractor for the Brookwood Avenue Roadway Improvements project. The work includes approximately 5,220 feet of roadway overlay; approximately 5,220 feet of curb, gutter, and sidewalk; storm drainage pipe and structures; additional left-turn lanes; traffic signals at three intersections; retaining walls; guardrail; pavement markings; erosion and sedimentation controls; water and sewer relocation; asbestos-cement pipe removal; utility coordination; and related roadway, traffic-control, and site-restoration work. The bid is unit-price based, with estimated quantities listed in the Bid Form. Bidders must submit a notarized sealed bid, completed Bid Form, Bid Bond or equivalent 5% bid security, and Debarred Firms Certification Form. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, insurance, E-Verify documentation, and other contract-execution materials. The work must be completed within 365 days from the Commencement Date, which occurs within 10 days after receipt of the written Notice to Proceed.
