Description
The New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC) is seeking a consultant to assist its Fair and Equitable Housing Office (FEHO) with public engagement activities. These activities will inform an assessment of fair housing report and include developing a Public Engagement Plan, conducting Public Engagement Events (stakeholder focus groups and regional public meetings), administering Community Surveys, and producing a final Public Engagement Report. The contract will be for a one-year term, with a potential one-year renewal option. The scope of services involves extensive outreach to various stakeholders including housing developers, fair housing organizations, public housing authorities, and community advocacy groups. The consultant will be responsible for managing event logistics, ensuring accessibility and translation services, developing presentation materials, and compiling detailed reports on findings. The community surveys will need to be translated into multiple languages. The anticipated engagement period is from July 31, 2026, through December 30, 2026.
