Description
The City of Rome, New York is soliciting bids for the RFB-2026-014 project, which involves the construction of the West Liberty & James Street Parking Lots. The scope of work includes providing limited traffic controls, removing existing pavements and millings, installing new granite curbs, concrete sidewalks, and asphalt parking pavement, followed by striping. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. local time on July 9, 2026. Complete sets of plans, specifications, and bid forms are available digitally through specified online portals. Bidders must notify the City of Rome to be placed on the official plan holders list to receive addenda and correspondence; bids from non-listed contractors will not be accepted. Questions must be submitted via email to the Engineer's Representative at least five calendar days prior to the bid opening. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, money order, or certified check for 5% of the total bid price. The project has a Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) utilization goal of 30%.
