The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is soliciting bids for a one-year blanket contract for plastic trash bags. The bags are described as 1.7 mil thick, 43" x 48", light tint blue to allow visibility of contents, made of low-density polyethylene, and come 100 bags per case, weighing approximately 22.9 lbs. The SEPTA stock number is 6700136. This is a blanket contract, and SEPTA is not bound to purchase any specific quantity. The contract will expire at the end of the contract period or when the contract value is exhausted, whichever occurs first. Pricing is firm for the contract duration. Individual releases will be for no less than 1000 cases.
