Description
The City of Troy is soliciting four separately awarded prime construction contracts for Phase 1 of a new mixed-use Restaurant Pavilion: Contract A—General Construction, Contract B—Plumbing Construction, Contract C—Mechanical Construction, and Contract D—Electrical Construction. The work includes demolition and asbestos abatement of the existing pub building, lead-containing-material controls, site grading, new utilities, ice-rink wall bracing, foundations, exterior closure, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical distribution, and related site improvements. Bidders may submit for one or more prime contracts, with each contract awarded on a lump-sum basis to the lowest responsible bidder. Bids must include the completed bid form and signature page, a 5 percent bid bond or certified check, non-collusive certification, New York State Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry certification, and any other forms required by the bid documents. The solicitation requires three paper copies and one digital version in a sealed envelope; fax and email submissions are not accepted. A 100 percent performance bond and 100 percent payment bond are required from the successful bidder. The project has substantial completion scheduled for December 18, 2026, final completion scheduled for May 14, 2027, and extensive insurance, prevailing-wage, apprenticeship, asbestos-abatement, and construction-documentation requirements.
