Description
This solicitation seeks the manufacture and supply of a SHAFT ASSEMBLY. The contract will include specific requirements for manufacturing, quality assurance, and packaging in accordance with various military standards, including MIL-STD-129 for marking and MIL-STD-2073 for packaging. The contract also specifies requirements for configuration control and changes in design, material, servicing, or part number. The U.S. Navy requires that the ultimate awardee be an authorized source, and if the offeror is not the manufacturer, they must provide official documentation confirming authorized distributor status. The awarded contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and will adhere to IUID requirements.
