Description
The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Medical Services, is seeking a single contractor to provide comprehensive Medicaid utilization management and clinical services. The scope includes prior authorization, extension-of-benefits, retrospective, medical necessity, behavioral health, dental, vision, disability, appeals, reconsiderations, provider training, reporting, quality improvement, and fraud, waste, and abuse review support. The contractor must furnish, host, operate, and maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant web-based Contractor Portal integrated with the State's Medicaid Management Information System and decision-support systems. The contractor must provide appropriately licensed and credentialed clinical and administrative staff, maintain an Arkansas location, support remote and onsite work as required, and meet extensive data security, privacy, reporting, transition, and business-continuity requirements. The initial contract term is three years, with up to four additional one-year renewal terms.
