Description
The City of Kenner is soliciting sealed bids for citywide grass-cutting services covering approximately 1,270,036.60 square yards and an estimated 26 cutting cycles per year. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, operators, fuel, transportation, maintenance, insurance, permits, and related resources. Required equipment includes manicure mowers, backpack blowers, edgers, weed eaters, limb clippers, and a street sweeper. The scope also includes weed removal and control, mulching, flower-bed planting, edging, mechanical sweeping, trash and debris removal, limited tree trimming, and maintenance of grass areas, medians, roadsides, canal banks, parks, lots, lift-station areas, and other designated city locations. The contract is effective February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2029, with an amount not to exceed $500,000 annually. Bid security of 5% is required; performance and payment bonds are required after award, each in an amount of at least 50% of the contract price. The bid package requires a completed bid form, bid security, and a corporate resolution or signature authorization when applicable.
