Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a high-speed, low-temperature measurement solution capable of resolving temperature and emissivity across test-article surfaces during high-enthalpy ground testing. The requested hyperspectral imager must measure surface temperatures from 0 to 1,500 °F, with a 2,000 °F objective, at 4,000 Hz, with a 5,000 Hz objective. The required pixel footprint is no more than 0.1 inch, with a 0.05-inch objective, and measurement accuracy must be within ±10 °F, with a ±5 °F objective. The opportunity is identified as an SBIR topic under the Air Force for fiscal year 2027.
