Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting an annual laundry equipment service agreement for the Richmond VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide two qualified service technicians onsite for one week, or five days, each month for 12 months to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on extensive commercial laundry, drying, ironing, conveyor, boiler, compressor, water infrastructure, and related equipment. The scope includes preventive maintenance for washing machines, dryers and fire-safety systems, drainage and water infrastructure, and related equipment. The contractor must provide labor, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, service reports, and debris removal; the facility will purchase repair parts as needed. Quotes must include a signed SF 1449, a technical proposal addressing staffing, maintenance approaches, regulatory compliance, and reporting, pricing, the completed VAAR 852.219-75 limitations-on-subcontracting certification, and employee position titles for personnel requiring facility access. The work must comply with OSHA, NFPA 211 and 54, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
