Description
Iredell-Statesville Schools is requesting proposals for Category 1 wide area network services connecting the district's existing network hub to two new construction schools scheduled to open in August 2027. The requested services include two standalone data transmission connections and two leased lit fiber connections, each with capacity ranging from 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps, along with installation and initial configuration. Proposals may address single-year arrangements or arrangements with annual extension options, and the RFP considers alternatives with or without special construction. The scope includes provider verification and potential use or construction of conduit paths, handholes, demarcation points, and extensions at Weathers Creek High School and Parkertown Elementary School. Final proposals must reference the Form 470, billed entity number, entity name, and specific services proposed.
